Stash busting

I got addicted to making these cute owlies, thanks to Bunny Mummy's tutorial.

I may just have to make more colour schemes of them.

I also started making a hat for my cousin's son.  I think it will be a monster hat and will post when finished.

So much yarn and projects to make, there's just not enough hours in the day.
I seen this pic on Instagram, it's so me. LOL

Crocheting with my baby.

Happy hump day, two more days to a long weekend for me.

Feb projects

I'm still working on this scarf, but at least I'm on ball two.  It wraps over the shoulders now but I would like to get it so you can wrap around neck twice and have length to hang down.

My co-worker found a site to make crochet squares and send in to make a donation blanket.  Here's a few square's I made for it.  They had to be 8 inches.

And here she is working on her square. Lovely cafe we meet at sometimes.

And for my other squares I've been working on, they are coming along.  I've been blocking each one as sometimes with squares from circles they don't always lay flat and form a square shape.

The Alpaca blend scarf is nearly at the length I want.  Seems this year scarfs are handy as we've had more snow than usual for our region.

I've also been making some things with the cotton my co-worker gave me.
This is a soap saver wash holder.
And this cozy for my co-worker who loves her tea.

It's been a long week. I worked last Sunday, Monday (holiday here) and all week. Can't wait to sleep in tomorrow.  I did have my tooth out a week ago.  It's been healing nicely but feels weird. Dentist said
it was badly infected. So I guess it's a good thing.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

A bit of this, a bit of that...

I just finished up a mug cozy for my tea cup at work.  That's my heart swag hanging on my cubicle wall at work.

I finished this baby/little girls hat.  It was supposed to be a pattern for a fedora hat but the brim ended up more ripply than I think it was supposed too.  Either way, people thought it was cute this way so I put on a flower to finish it off.

My granny circles are all done.  Now onto square making. I'm thinking these will turn into a nice gift idea I have.

And with V-day this week, I wanted to make more hearts.  I edged them with some fun scrappy yarns I had gotten from E-bay last year.

A co-worker brought in this ball of yarn for me.  She intended on making dish clothes but hers ended up lop-sided.  So I frogged what she had most of the way and finished it off and gave her the dish cloth below.  I ended up making a few more and gave them away.
Love these colours.

Lucky me gets V-day off, only because I have a dental issues and will either be getting a root canal or the tooth pulled.  Depending on how bad it is.  Joy.

WIP ADD

How do you know when you have ADD? When you working on a handful of projects, if not more, at a time.  My granny rounds are coming along.  I'm starting the final round before squaring them.

I've been sick these last 4 days so there was lazy boy crochet time with my side kick here.  He loves to sit with me when I'm using my ripple blanket.

On the weekend I pulled out the sewing machine and cut these lovely flannel squares up to start making some quilt blocks I hope to turn into a baby blanket, either to sell or give when I know of someone having a boy. LOL Not bad for my first attempt I thought.  I had You Tube loaded up with tutorials.

The knitted scarf is one skein down and maybe another half or so to go.  Near finished on this baby had.  Just have to dress it up a bit.  And I want to go a bit longer on the Alpaca blend scarf enough to wrap the neck twice.

We've had quite a bit of snow this month.  It's been cold then we had a few nearly 55 degree F days, then back to cold.  No wonder so many people at work and all around are getting sick.  Yesterday I hit the clinic and the doctor said there are a number of viruses going around and gave me a med for my cough.  They said it may cause drowsiness.  I came home, put on Bridget Jones, took a few spoonfuls of the tasty syrup.  Next thing I knew the eyes were heavy and sawed some logs for a few hours.

Hope everyone is staying healthy!
